An amnesiac princess is found in the wilderness. With her father dead, she is brought back to be crowned queen, with a marriage quickly arranged to a neighbouring king to solidify their alliance against the dreaded Shadow King. But on the way to the wedding, the new queen is kidnapped by that very enemy, and the two agree to cut out the middle man and marry instead. Now Norah must navigate political intrigue, a mysterious prophecy, and an unexpected attraction, all the while

Lara has been trained all her life as a spy to bring down The Bridge Kingdom. She’s sent to be married to and spy on its king — Aren. She soon finds that all she’s been taught about Aren is wrong, but that doesn’t change her people’s plight. Now she must choose between the people she was born to save and the man she was sent to betray.

I really enjoyed this book - but I'm so bummed about the ending.

Nothing says chaos like a cursed werewolf, a witch trying to break the spell, and an inner wolf with absolutely no filter.

A captivating Beauty and the Beast retelling set in medieval Ireland, with a runaway scribe and a reclusive, hopeless Lord fighting a generational curse.

This is an in-between, I would say. Full on romance, but with an interesting plot and fascinating back-story.
