Super fun or emotional read. Great book, and I'm glad I read it. May read again, depending on mood.

An absolute favourite. Close to, if not perfect! A prized possession, will absolutely read again.

SPICE RATINGS

I found this guide a while back for rating spice levels in romance novels online. I would love to give credit, but haven't been able to find it again.

Anyway, I wanted to post it here so that all of you would know what the little peppers mean.

🌶️ Peppercorn

No explicit content. Characters may share a tender moment where they hold hands and exchange a brief kiss on the lips, but the story focuses on their emotional bond and personal growth.

🌶️🌶️ Poblano

Mildly suggestive content and dialogue. Characters experience tension and may share a few passionate kisses. Fades to black before anything explicit happens.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ Serrano

At least one Open Door scene (reader present for sex scene). Explicit language and several steamy scenes with detailed descriptions, but not the central focus of the book. Scenes describe physical sensations and actions.

Frequent and explicit sex scenes with detailed, graphic descriptions. The physical relationship is a significant part of the plot. May include some ‘kink’ elements. Primary focus remains on their relationship and emotional connection.

High frequency of extremely explicit scenes, very detailed and graphic descriptions of various sexual activities and kinks elements like BDSM. The entire plot is centered around sexual encounters.
